Unrealized Potential: Star Trek The Next Generation Episodes Deserving Sequels

Unrealized Potential: Star Trek The Next Generation Episodes Deserving Sequels

My boxsets for each season of Star Trek: The Next Generation have a different crew member's face on the box which I find really nice. Each season deserves a character growing season in my opinion. However, I would love to see more of Barclay mainly because he gets maybe one or two episodes about HIM. In one episode, he broke the rules and got entangled in a holographic situation even if he was addicted. In another, he proved that there were creatures in transport. The possibilities are endless with such a character!

Of course, there are Q and Ensign Ro as well. I would love a proper series or season on each of them, a bit more background and some intriguing storylines.

So if I ruled the world, we would still have a Star Trek: Picard and then Star Trek: Riker and Star Trek: Ensign Ro Laren etc.

Long-term Implications: An Unsatisfying Conclusion

Another episode of Star Trek The Next Generation that fans thought deserved a sequel was {insert episode name}. Although the episode ends with the timeline being restored, fans wished for a sequel to see the long-term consequences of the crew's actions.
