All I could recall was the middle right part of the robe, the way the covers were positioned on my face, and the brown material with red threads.

He theorized that the extreme fear experienced as a child could have altered my brain in a way that I no longer feel any fear, despite understanding the dangers of some situations. This unusual lack of fear could be a side effect of the haunting encounter I had at such a young age.

My experiences in the daylight also extend to my time working at a palliative care home. It was during these ten years that I faced some of the most intriguing and inexplicable events. One such day stands out in my memory as particularly significant.

The Pepper Shaker Incident

While having lunch at a friend's house which I was renting a room from, I was deeply engrossed in my sandwich. Out of nowhere, a pepper shaker flew from the pantry shelf and crashed through the kitchen, flying across the room in a straight line. This sudden and unexplained movement of an object in the kitchen left me and others in shock. The experience was so bewildering that no one could explain it away by normal means.

The Spirit's Farewell

In the kitchen of the palliative care home where I volunteered, I experienced another inexplicable event. While quietly reading a magazine and preparing my lunch, I sensed that one of our residents, Joanne, was near the end of her life. Her sister and niece were in the back bedroom with her, and everything was incredibly quiet and peaceful. I heard the sister crying and her muffled sobs coming from the back hallway. In that instant, I felt an immense energy enter the room from my left side. It was warm, tingling, and massive, hovering near me for about ten seconds before dissipating. I was convinced that it was Joanne's spirit, a final goodbye before her passing.
