The Triggers and Tattlers: Why Some Liberals and Conservatives Crave Attention

For the longest time, we've heard about how conservatives trigger liberals and the other way around. However, some might ask, do liberals even need to trigger conservatives when they are more than capable of triggering themselves?

Why Some Liberals Enjoy the "Triggered" Label

Before delving deeper, let's consider the counter-question. Why do some liberals seem to enjoy using the term "triggered"? Is it a genuine emotional response, or a knee-jerk reaction to any idea that deviates from their beliefs? This question brings us to the crux of the dynamic.

The "I'm Triggered" Routine: A Game of Tattling

The "I'm triggered" routine often appears to be an attempt to seek validation or attention. This behavior reminds me of a group of girls from my grade school days who would consistently come into class complaining that someone was being "mean."

In those days, "mean" usually meant they didn't get to play their preferred game during recess. The teacher suggested these tattlers could form their own games and invite others to join. Eventually, the persistent tattlers found that others simply ignored them, leading to a reaction of "tag" or "kickball" that excluded them from their preferred activities.

Similarly, when some conservatives enjoy "triggering" others, it reveals the ridiculousness and inconsistency of their claims. This behavior is often a way to gain attention or to highlight supposed injustices.

The Smoking Connection

Another interesting observation is that in the last decade, there seems to be a correlation between smoking and political alignment. I've found that women who smoke tend to be more relaxed and less politically aligned with the left.

These women are often easier to work with, making them better team players. They are less likely to create workplace friction, which is why I often look for signs of cigarette smoking in female job candidates. In most cases, these women turn out to be more team-oriented and less likely to cause interpersonal issues.

Both Sides Bear Responsibility

The situation isn't just one-sided. Liberals and conservatives both contribute to this dynamic. It's not just conservatives who trigger liberals, but the media plays a significant role in dividing us. Both sides tend to be overly critical of the other.

Consider this: conservatives often dismiss progressive ideas, such as gender reassignment surgery for children, as unnecessary and potentially destructive. On the other hand, liberals may view conservative skepticism of the government as paranoid and unfounded. In reality, both are misguided in their views.

At the end of the day, both liberals and conservatives need to acknowledge that we are all on the same planet and that mutual respect and understanding are essential. Let's cease this childish behavior and work together for the betterment of society.

Remember, it's about moving forward and finding common ground, not dwelling on triggers or tattling.
