I pushed the button to get someone to assist me, and in walked the man whom I had seen earlier, who absolutely glowed with an ever-present, radiant light.
'I’m going to marry that man,' I thought to myself as I turned to my friend. However, when I mentioned my intentions, she laughed, 'Yeah, sure you are.' This moment seemed like a lost opportunity, but it led to a series of events that turned out to be the start of our journey together.
Later on my pay day, I often visited the pet store, and eventually, I decided to purchase the guinea pig. My friend mentioned that he went to high school with the man who worked at the store. This small town connection sparked excitement, and after work, my friend informed the man about my interest. It was in May 13, and the man proposed a date, which we accepted on May 18th.

As it turns out, the man didn't work in the pet department. He was just there to answer the bell and be helpful as a way to flirt with the pet department manager.
