The Extraordinary Journey of Hulk from Earth to Planet Hulk
The story of how Hulk traveled from Earth to the planet Hulk is an epic tale filled with intrigue, adventure, and unexpected twists. In the Marvel comic universe, it kicks off with the involvement of the Illuminati, a clandestine organization of the most powerful, intelligent, and influential humans and superhumans of Earth.
The Illuminati: The Guardians of Earth
Formed by Reed Richards, Dr. Strange, Tony Stark, Charles Xavier (Professor X), Black Bolt (King of the Inhumans), and Namor (the Sub-Mariner), the Illuminati serves as a secretive council that shapes and controls the major world events. Their mission is to protect the Earth and its inhabitants, often through means that may seem unconventional but are ultimately in the best interest of humanity. Their past members include legendary figures like Black Panther, Beast (Hank Pym), and Doctor Pym.
Hulk’s Rampage and Exile to Space
One crucial event that directs Hulk’s journey towards space is his violent episode in Las Vegas. Following a series of uncontrollable outbursts which resulted in the destruction of most of the city, the Illuminati convened to decide on his fate. Fearing that his presence on Earth was too dangerous, they devised a plan to exile him. With the assistance of Nick Fury, the Illuminati orchestrated a scheme to trick Hulk into boarding a space shuttle. Claiming that the mission was to pursue a rogue Hydra satellite, they disguised the real objective: to send Hulk away to an uninhabited planet via a wormhole. However, things did not go as planned. The journey through the wormhole left Hulk weakened and disoriented, and he was captured and taken to the gladiatorial arena on the planet Sakaar.
Resilience and Survival: Sakaar
Exiled and incarcerated on Sakaar, Hulk quickly adapts to the harsh realities of the gladiatorial arena. Over time, through countless battles, he earns the respect of the inhabitants of this barbaric world. He not only challenges but eventually becomes the king of Sakaar. Here, amid the constant danger and struggle, he finds a sense of purpose and even develops a deep connection with a fellow inhabitant, ultimately marrying and starting a family. Life on Sakaar becomes a life of relative peace for the Hulk, marked by joy and love.
The Tragic End and a New Found Path
However, all peace is not to last. The same ship that brought Hulk to Sakaar earlier fails its power systems and begins to explode, threatening not only its own existence but also the lives of the planet and its inhabitants. Stranded and facing the peril of his family, Hulk realizes the true extent of the destruction caused by the wedge between two worlds. Despite his efforts, the ship explodes, taking with it the centerpiece of his world and nearly all life on Sakaar. Reunited with the surviving members of his alliance, the Hulk embarks on a new journey, not for exile, but for revenge. A journey that brings him back to Earth seeking justice and vengeance for the tragedy that befell his new home.
