Review of the New Grand i10 Nios Sports Automatic: A Year in Use

As a Google SEOer, I've incorporated comprehensive keywords and structured content to meet Google's standards while writing a detailed review of the Grand i10 Nios Sports automatic. This article offers a long-term perspective on the car, highlighting its features, performance, and user experience.

Introduction

After a thorough research, when I was almost committed to purchasing the Maruti Suzuki Swift VXI AMT, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sports was launched, offering a better deal with more features and a comparatively lower price.

The car convinced me to buy it in September 2019. However, due to the pandemic and lockdown, I couldn't take the car for long drives. A year later, my car has covered 2050km, driving it always brings me a sense of pleasure!

Engine and Cabin

The 1.2L Kappa petrol engine is extremely refined and quiet. The cabin insulation is just perfect, minimizing noise and vibrations while driving. Several times, I couldn't even guess that my car's engine was running.

The AMT gear shifting system is smooth, thanks to its electronic actuator, which makes it smoother compared to the Swift's AMT.

The boot space is ample for a small Indian family, and the powerful AC with rear AC vents adds to the comfort. The car includes standard safety features such as airbags, ABS, child door locks. The G-i10 badge on the C-pillar adds a touch of class to the car.

The most attractive feature of the car is its boomerang-shaped DRLs. The projector fog lamps and styled projector headlamps are also impressive.

Mileage and Performance

Regarding mileage, I achieved an average of 14kmpl in the city and almost 20kmpl on long drives. The above figures were recorded with the air conditioning on.

Service Experience

The first service after three months of purchase included air filter cleaning, oil greasing, oil top-up, and windshield washer liquid top-up with charges of Rs. 40.

After one year of purchase, the second service included air filter cleaning, oil greasing, engine oil change, oil filter change, wheel alignment, and windshield washer liquid top-up with charges of Rs. 2000.

Conclusion

My experience with the Grand i10 Nios Sports is nothing but awesome. I always look forward to driving it.
