Palpatine's Fears: Darth Sion or Darth Revan?

When considering the fears of Darth Sidious, or Palpatine, the question arises about who would have been more worrisome for him: the powerful and strategic Darth Revan, or the malevolent but more immediately dangerous Darth Sion.

Understanding the Fears of a Sith Emperor

Palpatine didn't fear the individuality of either Darth Sion or Darth Revan, as both were already long deceased. However, had they been alive, Palpatine would most likely have taken a cautious stance towards Darth Revan, especially given his remarkable abilities and potential for disruption.

During the Clone Wars, Palpatine's plans were vulnerable to betrayal, and he viewed his former apprentice Darth Maul as a threat due to his growing influence in the underworld. Revealingly, Palpatine felt that when Revan returned with an intelligent and strategic mind, there could have been significant disruptions to his carefully orchestrated reign.

Revan's combat prowess and mastery of the Force would have made him a serious threat on the battlefield. Despite his skills, Palpatine likely wouldn't have faced defeat, but the conflict would have been intense.

Ultimately, Revan represents a greater long-term threat due to his strategic acumen, tactical brilliance, and the power he could unleash through training others. While Sion was a formidable figure, his limitations and personality would have made him less of an overall danger to the Sith Emperor.
