My Evolution of Love in Dreamcatcher: From JiU to Dami

This is a story of how my love for the group Dreamcatcher has evolved over time. Initially, I was drawn to JiU, the group's leader, vocalist, and visual, but as I delved deeper into their music and performances, my heart shifted toward fellow member Dami.

First Bias: JiU

During the Scream era, I first discovered Dreamcatcher through their MV. One member instantly caught my eye: JiU. I was captivated by her powerful high notes and her striking purple hair. JiU's leadership, vocal prowess, and visual appeal made her stand out among the group. Every member of Dreamcatcher was amazing, but JiU held a special place in my heart because of her unique characteristics and the horror concept that the group embraced.

Identifying the Members

In the Scream MV, I noticed JiU as the leader and vocalist, and her mask suggested she was also the visual. I assumed Yoohyeon was the visual based on her appearance in the MV, but I didn't realize Gahyeon had a rap break. SuA and Siyeon were also unfamiliar to me at the time, and I was not aware there was another member named Handong.

First Bias Wreckers: 2hyeon Yoohyeon

When I first discovered Dreamcatcher, 2hyeon and Yoohyeon were my bias wreckers. These two members pulled me away from JiU, convincing me to appreciate the diverse talents within the group. My confusion and admiration were so strong that I couldn't stick to one bias or bias wrecker, making my journey through the Dreamcatcher fandom both intriguing and dynamic.

Current Bias: Dami

As time passed, my love for Dreamcatcher evolved, and my bias shifted to Dami. Dami's rap is simply amazing, and every performance she delivers leaves me in awe. Her unique style and powerful vocals have captured my heart. Conversely, Handong's vocals are my favorite out of the entire group, and Siyeon's performances in Odd Eye were a breakthrough moment for me, as she rewrote the concept of bias wreckers for me. The concept of bias electrons changes frequently, but Dami remains my current favorite.

Reflections and Conclusion

While my love for Dreamcatcher has evolved over the years, I've come to appreciate all members equally. Handong and Siyeon's performances have influenced my joy and excitement in the group, but Dami's presence has brought me the most joy. This journey through the Dreamcatcher fandom has been nothing short of exciting, and I look forward to seeing how it continues to unfold.
