How to Easily Subscribe and Unsubscribe from YouTube Channels

Subscribing and unsubscribing from channels on YouTube is a simple process that allows you to stay updated with your favorite content creators and manage your subscriptions according to your interests. Here, we will walk you through the steps for subscribing to and unsubscribing from YouTube channels, both through the website and the mobile app.

Subscribing to a Channel

Whether you're using a computer or your mobile device, subscribing to a YouTube channel is straightforward.

Using a Computer

Go to the YouTube website and log in to your account. Navigate to the channel you want to subscribe to by searching for it or clicking on the channel name from a video. On the channel page, click the Subscribe button. This button is usually located near the top right of the channel banner.

Using the YouTube Mobile App

Open the YouTube app and log in to your account. Search for the channel or find it through a video. Tap on the channel name to open its page. Tap the Subscribe button.

From a Video

While watching a video, you can click on the channel name below the video to go to the channel page, and then click Subscribe.

Unsubscribing from a Channel

Managing your subscriptions with YouTube is just as easy when it comes to unsubscribing from a channel.

Using a Computer

Go to the YouTube website and log in to your account. Click on the Subscriptions tab on the left sidebar to see your subscribed channels. Find the channel you want to unsubscribe from and click the Subscribed button next to it. The button will change to Subscribe, indicating that you have unsubscribed.

Using the YouTube Mobile App

Open the YouTube app and log in to your account. Tap on the Subscriptions tab at the bottom. Locate the channel you want to unsubscribe from and tap the Subscribed button. The button will change to Subscribe.

From a Channel Page

Navigate to the channel page of the channel you want to unsubscribe from. Click or tap the Subscribed button and it will change to Subscribe, confirming that you have unsubscribed.

Additional Tips

After subscribing to a channel, you can also click the bell icon next to the Subscribe button to turn on notifications for new uploads from that channel. This ensures you don't miss any updates from your favorite creators.

You can manage your subscriptions by going to your Your Channel rarr; Subscriptions where you can see all your subscribed channels. This enables you to easily follow your favorite content creators and manage your subscriptions as your interests change.
