Exploring the Endearing Skills of My K-pop Idol Biases

Every K-pop enthusiast has biases, and each of us often revel in the unique traits and talents that make our favorite stars stand out. For me, these biases often showcase a range of skills from music and acting to photography and more. In this article, I'll share some of what I love about my V-tae, as well as my personal desires for various K-pop groups.

Beomgyu’s Unique Talents

Beomgyu, a star from various K-pop groups, has a plethora of endearing talents. He can play the guitar, exhibit perfect pitch with his flute, and write songs. His appearance in long hair is mesmerizing. Additionally, he has the ability to evoke powerful facial expressions and exceptional physical comedy. Beomgyu is also a humorous and adaptable personality, able to balance being sweet and endearing, all while maintaining a humorous and playful demeanor. His fan videos (fancams) are always of the highest quality, and his ability to unintentionally lower his voice and speak Satoori adds to his charm. His deep voice and dimples also contribute to his appeal, while he effortlessly takes great photographs, especially those of Soobin. Beomgyu’s active engagement with MOA (Members Only Area) on Weverse, providing advice, further exemplifies his all-around talent. There is much more to explore about this idol, and I will continue to update this list as I think of new traits to admire.

My Ultimate Bias: V - Kim TaeTae

When it comes to my ultimate bias, there is none other than V from BTS. V’s multifaceted talents are unparalleled. He can effortlessly sing RB with his deep, emotional voice. He can act impeccably well, and his dancing skills are unparalleled; so much so that I struggle to choose a standout performance, which is why I’ve chosen one where he performs in heels, highlighting his versatility. V can model with such grace and control, and even though he isn’t a rapper, his rapping skills are noteworthy. His ability to switch between duality is remarkable—just as Kim Taehyung can shift into Mr. Kim Taehyung, he can also easily return to the charming and adorable TaeTae. V even demonstrates remarkable competence in composing music and directing his own music videos. He is also an accomplished photographer, known as Vante. This list only scratches the surface of V’s talents, and I am excited to continue discovering more.

Desires for Various K-pop Groups

Every bias has their own desires for their favorite K-pop idols. Here’s what I wish for a few K-pop groups:

BTS: I would love to see them experiment with undercuts or a two-block haircut. This would bring a new aesthetic dynamic to their overall look. TXT: I desire for them to continue to be themselves, maintaining their unique and vibrant personalities. BLACKPINK: I hope they can be unfazed by any contrasting feedback and continue to shine confidently. GOT7: I would love to see all of them have a VLive where they use the English language in a deliberately butchered manner, highlighting the playful and humorous side of language. MAMAMOO: I want to see them perform live, as their performances are always memorable and captivating. ITZY: If they haven’t already, I hope they do a cute version of “Icy” to showcase their playful side. TWICE: I wish they could be more comfortable and authentic in their performances, as they are undoubtedly talented.

Each of these biases has their unique desires, but the overarching theme is to simply see them thrive in their own unique ways. Whether it's through showcasing their multifaceted talents or embracing their playful and humorous sides, these desires reflect the adoration and support from their fans.
