Exploring Obsessions: From Horses to Virtual Reality

Exploring Obsessions: From Horses to Virtual Reality

Life is full of surprises and a collection of passions and obsessions. Today, I want to share some of mine, including those that eclipse my usual interests. It may seem unusual, particularly for someone in my 70s, but my life is not complete without a horse. However, it's not just horses; I'm also dabbling with virtual reality and something quite personal, which I'll share a bit.

My Lifelong Passion: Horses

Oh, I have a lot of other interests too, but horses hold a special place in my heart. I am what you might call a typical 'old horse-crazy girl' in my 70s. It is my life, my routine, and my adventure. A full-time job is merely a means to afford this love of mine. I've lost track of time and miles spent on the back of a horse over the years.

But alas, happily ever after is sometimes not so. Recently, my beloved horse, whom I've had for 18 years, passed away after battling a long-term illness. Losing a partner can be incredibly hard, almost as if you're saying goodbye to a life companion. Since then, I've been on a quest, a frenzied hunt, to find a new equine companion, someone to fill the void left by my dear horse. Life continues, but this little detour has brought a sense of loss, much like a lost limb, that is hard to bear.

Hiding in Plain Sight: Virtual Reality

But it's not all about the past. There's something entirely new and future-oriented that has captured my attention, to the point of obsessions. It's called virtual reality, or VR. I've been invested in virtual reality for about a year now, and it has taken me in a direction I never would have anticipated. I love exploring new worlds, experiencing games, and immersing myself in their adventures. Some may think I’m a gamer, but I’m not. However, VR has given me a whole new respect for gaming.

I often find myself thinking about VR 24/7, and I can't wait to put on my Meta Quest 2 headset to dive back into my virtual adventures. I am now a believer in the immersive experience that only VR can provide. The fun, the excitement, it’s mind-blowing, and it has been a refreshing change from my usual horse-related activities.

Personal Exploration: The Intriguing Nature of Experience

Another sphere of personal exploration for me is something more intimate and less conventional. I admit that I have a penchant for a very private activity. Being spanked by my husband, I can't get enough of it. It's an unexplainable and intense pleasure that has no place in public discourse, but it is a part of who I am.

.private pleasure can be a deeply personal and intimate experience. While this part of my life is personal and private, it is a significant part of my ongoing exploration of what it means to be full and passionate in one's desires. Just as I have embraced my horse love and VR adventures, I have also embraced this part of myself.

Conclusion: Embracing Obsessions

Life is a journey of discovery and exploration, and our obsessions are simply a part of that. Whether you're horse-crazy, a virtual reality enthusiast, or enjoy personal pleasures in private, it's important to embrace what makes you feel alive. It might seem strange, but it's what fuels us and enriches our lives.
