Exploring My First and Current Bias in K-Pop: Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet, Itzy, I-DLE, and Aespa

Exploring My K-Pop Bias Over the Years

My journey in K-Pop started with the iconic girl group Blackpink. When I first looked into K-Pop, my focus was on Lisa. I was drawn to her impeccable dance skills and striking hair. However, even though Lisa remains my current bias, I never settled for multiple biases within a single group. Once I turned my attention to Jennie, I quickly shifted back to Lisa.

From Blackpink to Twice

When I began exploring Twice, I found myself drawn to Sana. Her captivating visuals and powerful vocals left a lasting impression on me. At the moment, Momo is the group's bias for me, mainly because of her stellar dance moves and vocal prowess.

Red Velvet, one of the most popular idol groups, has a special place in my heart. My first bias in Red Velvet was Seulgi. She has consistently held my attention to this day, and I haven’t found anyone else in the group to surpass her in my affections.

Itzy and i-DLE: A Changing Heart

Itzy, on the other hand, has seen a significant change in my bias. Initially, Yeji caught my attention with her exceptional dancing skills and fierce visuals. However, after a grueling six months, my bias shifted to Yuna, especially due to her impressive stage presence.

In i-DLE, the initial bias was Minnie, who instantly captivated me with her impressive vocal range. As time passed, my bias transitioned to Soyeon, attracted to her rapping skills and producing talents. Knowingly or not, Soyeon has been a crucial part of my K-Pop journey.

Aespa: A Challenging Path

Finally, Aespa presents a unique challenge. My first bias was Winter, whose striking visuals and distinctive hair caught my eye. However, my current bias is Ningning, whose exceptional vocals and overall stage performance have consistently drawn me in.

Each of these groups has a special story, with evolving biases and personal impacts on my K-Pop fandom. It's fascinating to see how these biases have shaped my tastes and experiences over the years. Whether it’s Lisa in Blackpink or Ningning in Aespa, each bias has played a critical role in my journey through K-Pop.

Conclusion

So, if you are a K-Pop fan, what has your journey been like? Have you found a new bias in any of these groups, or does another K-pop idol hold a special place in your heart?
