What Degree Should You Pursue?

Should you pursue a specific degree to aid your entrepreneurial journey? The answer is yes, but being an entrepreneur is more about your personality and upbringing than academic qualifications. Many successful entrepreneurs like me, who have been running a business for 42 years, attribute their success to insight and luck more than formal education.

I have managed to earn a living through my own business, but I must admit, I am lucky. At my age, finding a new job or pursuing a traditional career path is challenging, and my earnings are vital to my current lifestyle. However, my major shortcoming is my inability to be a leader. Despite all the education I have acquired, it hasn’t turned me into one. My employees were, for the most part, friends who worked because they shared my fearlessness and boldness to take risks.
