Do Spells Work for People Without Belief in Witchcraft?

For over three decades, I have dedicated my time to the practice of spell casting. One of the most common questions I receive is whether spells can work for people who do not believe in witchcraft or witches. This article delves into the nature of spells and their effectiveness, regardless of belief.

Understanding the Power of Facts

Firstly, it is crucial to acknowledge that reality is not influenced by belief. Facts remain facts, whether they are accepted or not. To illustrate, consider the proverbial ostrich that buries its head in the sand, assuming it can escape danger. This is a fallacy. Similarly, jumping off a cliff serves as a stark reminder that defying gravity ends in physical harm, regardless of one’s belief in its power.

A bullet fired from a rifle demonstrates the same principle. Whether one believes in the force it carries or not, the results are the same - injury or death. Likewise, anesthetic medicine used in medical procedures, such as an injection, produces numbing effects, whether consent is given or not.

Just as a moving train or other automotive forces cannot be defied despite one's disbelief, the same principle applies to spells. If an experienced spell caster like Emmanule Ddombo casts a spell, its effects must be felt, regardless of the recipient's beliefs.

Belief in Magic and Its Role

Considering the nature of magic, whether it is real or a belief-based phenomenon, spells work if they are executed correctly. If magic does not exist, the spells do not work, and the effects are purely due to the placebo effect. If magic is a skill that some are naturally predisposed to, like the characters in Harry Potter, those with these abilities can perform magic even without believing in it. Conversely, those without these innate skills cannot cast spells with any degree of success, regardless of their beliefs.

As a Warlock, I prefer to believe that my experiences and studies in spell casting are real. Therefore, I advocate that belief is not necessary for spell effectiveness. However, it certainly helps in achieving the desired results. This is because belief drives individuals to study, work hard, and focus appropriately, leading to successful outcomes.

Without proper effort and belief, the results of spell casting can be unpredictable or non-existent. Studies show that humans tend to disengage from activities that they do not believe in, which can impact the effectiveness of spell casting.

Encouraging Experimentation

Jeopardizing one's safety or entering into the realm of forces that require extensive study, like certain darker forces, is not advisable. However, for those interested in exploring the potential of spell casting, I encourage you to try it. The worst that can happen is that nothing happens.

As you embark on this journey, remember that successful spell casting requires dedication and belief in one's abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, approaching spell casting with these principles in mind can set you on the path to effective spell work.

So, give it a shot. You have nothing to lose besides some time, and the only cost could be a learning experience that enriches your understanding of the spiritual world.
