Distinguishing Angels from Human Beings: A Closer Look at Divine Presence
The concept of angels has captured the imagination of believers and non-believers alike for centuries. Whether seen in dreams or considered as part of religious narratives, understanding the difference between angels and human beings is crucial.
Encountering Angels in Dreams
Have you ever experienced a dream where you interacted with an angel? For some, these encounters can be profound and life-changing experiences. In my own life, I have had three significant encounters, two of which were in the form of classic angels, dressed in white robes and radiating divine love, joy, and peace. These angels' words often align with biblical teachings, offering comfort and guidance.
The third encounter, particularly striking, occurred at a time when my life was in danger. On a walk in New Zealand, the weather turned suddenly harsh, and a mysterious man in a ranger’s uniform appeared out of nowhere. Despite having no equipment, he followed us back to safety. The next time I saw him, he vanished into thin air—in a clear, crystal day with no hiding spots. This encounter took me decades to interpret, and I finally recognized the angel’s divine presence as a guardian.
Understanding the Nature of Angels
Angels are often misunderstood as mere figments of imagination. Many believe they are born from spiritual states induced by drugs, mental illness, or the influence of deeply religious beliefs. However, angels are living entities with roles in heaven, serving the divine commands of Jehovah God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
On the other hand, human beings are concrete, physical creatures that inhabit the earth. The distinction lies in their purpose and nature. While angels serve in the spiritual realm, humans exist in the physical world, experiencing life, love, and growth.
The Role of Demons and Misleading Appearances
It’s important to consider the role of deception played by demons, who often manifest as angels of light. These entities seek to mislead individuals into believing they are receiving divine guidance, when in fact, these encounters are part of a satanic facade. Satan, as the enemy of humanity, seeks to maintain this false belief to sow confusion and doubt.
According to religious beliefs, humans do not have direct connections with angels or guardian spirits. Instead, there is a vast army of angels in heaven, watching over humanity and maintaining a connection to the divine. However, these angels do not intervene personally in each human’s life, but rather serve in their positions, guiding the greater good of humanity as a whole.
Belief and Evidence
The existence of angels is a matter of belief, much like the existence of God and other spiritual entities. While some find concrete evidence in their personal experiences, others rely on religious teachings and scriptures. What differentiates angels from human beings is their nature, purpose, and the realm in which they operate.
Whether you believe in angels or not, recognizing the profound impact of divine presence in human life can lead to a deeper understanding of our role in the universe and our connection to a higher power.
