Bengaluru Villagers Overpower Two Terrorists; BJP IT Chief Shocking Reveal

A daring move by brave villagers in the Reasi district of Jammu division has led to the apprehension of two notorious terrorists, Talib Hussain Shah and Faisal Ahmed Dar. Both individuals have been apprehended and handed over to the security agencies. Critical to the arrest, Sheikh Talib Hussain Shah, a suspect in the Rajouri district IED blasts case, was apprehended. He was previously a prominent figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), holding the pivotal position of IT Cell Chief in Jammu.

The recent development has been a shock to the nation as details emerged that Talib Hussain Shah, who was the head of IT and social media for the BJP Minority Morcha, was also said to be in regular contact with LeT terrorist Qasim. He has been implicated in various cases, including three IED blasts and civilian killings in Rajouri. The security agencies confirmed that Shah was also involved in grenade blasts. These revelations have left the BJP politically exposed, despite the party's initial attempts to mitigate the impact.

BJP's Embarrassing Omissions

Mukesh Singh, the Additional Director-General of Police ADGP Jammu, reportedly stated that Talib Hussain was in constant contact with LeT terrorist Qasim, based in Pakistan. Singh also mentioned that Shah was involved in at least three IED blast cases in Rajouri and several civilian killings and grenade blasts. The BJP, however, has struggled to present a coherent defense, blaming the existing online membership system for allowing anyone to join the party.

BJP spokesman RS Pathania admitted, in a statement to NDTV, that this may be a new model where people join the BJP for accessing resources, conducting reconnaissance, and even plot to kill top leadership. Pathania further stated, 'there was even a plot to kill the top leadership which was busted by the police.' Despite these claims, it is evident that Shah held a significant role within the party structure.

BJP's Track Record of Tolerance

This is not the first instance where members of the BJP have been involved in terrorist activities. The party has faced several black marks in the past due to its tolerance of members with extremist leanings. Last week, it emerged that one of the killers of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal was also a BJP member. This discovery prompted the Congress party to launch a severe criticism and to question the BJP's stance on such individuals.

Conclusion

The arrest of Talib Hussain Shah and the subsequent revelations have put the BJP under intense scrutiny. While the party struggles to address the issue, the incident underlines the need for stricter accountability measures and vetting processes within political organizations. As the details continue to emerge, the BJP and its leadership find themselves in a difficult position, facing public and political pressure alike.
