Are you one of the many aspiring entertainers who have been eagerly awaiting the results of the I-LAND 2 global audition? Recently, we made a query to the organizers to find out whether they were still sending emails for the second round. The response was quite interesting and informative, and it seems like there are some key details to share with you.
Result Update and Email Sent
On a recent inquiry, we were informed that they had started sending acceptance letters to those who successfully passed the first round of the I-LAND 2 audition. However, due to possible delays, these letters might end up in the spam folder. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you ensure your contact details are correct and that you check all your mailboxes including the spam folder.
They clarified that even before your second audition date, the acceptance letters might arrive. That’s why it’s crucial to start practicing early. You can relax, but don’t get overly relaxed as you have some work to do!
Additionally, those whose second rounds are scheduled later would be expecting an email about a week before the audition. If you haven't received anything, don't panic yet; just be patient and stay tuned.
About I-LAND 2 and BELIFT LAB
The new season of I-LAND, produced by Mnet and HYBE, aims to create a new K-pop girl group. This project follows the entire process from the initial selection to the debut, providing a unique insight into the journey of K-pop idols. The first season, which aired from June to September 2020, produced the boy group ENHYPEN.
For I-LAND 2, the audition process is now well underway. The teaser video for the program was released on September 27, and applications have opened through BELIFT LAB’s official website. To be eligible to audition, females born between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2009, are now accepting applications. This is an incredible opportunity for both domestic and international contestants to showcase their talents.
Application Deadlines and Audition Rounds
The application period for the first stage ended on October 10 at midnight KST. Those who made it through the initial screening can look forward to the upcoming round of auditions, which will take place in several locations including Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, and the United States. The auditions will commence in October, and the show is set to air in the first half of 2022.
