A Detailed Overview of My KPop Merchandise Collection: A Passion for Soloists and Groups

eing a devoted fan of KPop has undoubtedly led me to accumulate a sizeable collection of merchandise, and I am proud to say that my KPop collection is well-established and diverse. Much of it is proudly displayed on a small shelf in my home, and even more prominently displayed on my office desk, adorned with photos of beloved artists such as BTS. These additions have not only enhanced my fandom but also serve as a constant reminder of my journey with KPop.

My Collection of BTS Merchandise

One of the focal points of my KPop merchandise collection is undoubtedly the items from BTS. My collection started with the first album, Love Yourself: 'Her'. Since 2017, I have expanded my collection to include the following items from BTS:

Albums: WINGS (Album Ver I), YNWA (Pink Version), Love Yourself: Tear, Love Yourself: Answer, and Speak Yourself. Each of these albums captures a unique phase of the group's evolution. Photocards: I own a photocard of Jin from Love Yourself: 'Her' and a photocard of RM from Love Yourself: 'Tear'. Accessories: A plushie, a face pillow, a standee doll, a keyring, and various t-shirts and headbands, all designed to bring the vibrant atmosphere of the group into my home. Special Items: BTS Season's Greetings 2018, and the third version of Army Bomb. Additionally, I have pre-ordered Persona, which will be releasing in May. Other Memorabilia: A photobook of the 4th Muster, and concert tickets to their sold-out show at Rose Bowl Stadium on May 5th.

The sheer joy and excitement I derive from these items showcases my deep connection with BTS and the dedication that comes with being a fan.

Excluding BTS, My Collection Expands to Other KPop Groups

My KPop collection is not limited to BTS; it also includes items from other popular groups. Some of these items are:

EXO: I own the Love Shot ALBUM (SHOT version) and a photocard of D.O. GOT7: I have Present: YouMe ALBUM (MIRACLE version) and photocards of Mark Jinyoung and Youngjae. NCT: I have 2018 ALBUM (Empathy reality version) and a photocard of Jaehyun.

Moreover, I have a BTS Summer Package in Saipan, which combines music and a travel experience, and a poster of BTS and EXO artist, showcasing their visual appeal and iconic status.

Evolving KPop Fan and Future Goals

My KPop journey has been one of continuous growth and expansion. Starting as an early beginner in 2017, I have managed to steadily curate a collection that reflects my evolving tastes and preferences. While I do recognize that my collection is not as extensive as some might have, the items I acquired have been significant in my KPop journey.

I aspire to continue building my KPop collection and adding more items from various solo artists and groups, such as Persona by BTS, which I have already pre-ordered. My ultimate goal is to create a comprehensive collection that encompasses the beauty and diversity of the KPop industry.
